List of Applications for High-Speed Rail Funds Returned by Florida

Click the link below to download an Excel spreadsheet that lists all of the applications recently submitted to the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) by 24 states, the District of Columbia, and Amtrak, in Response to U.S. DOT's March 11, 2011 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) regarding the funds that Florida recently returned. The list contains the amount of funding requested and other details about the projects. An official list has still not been made public yet, so this list is pieced together from various press releases and new reports. Several of the projects have details that need to be filled in. So far, this list accounts for over $10.3 billion in funding requests received by the FRA.

UPDATE: Originally, the FRA was going to redirect $2.4 billion, but the FY2011 Federal Budget rescinded $400 million from the FY2010 High-Speed Intercity Passenger Rail Program budget, now bringing the total amount to be redirected to $2.02 billion.

If you come across any additional information about a project, please forward it to me at dschned@rpa.org and I will continuously update this document. Thanks!
